As the analyst working in the Workforce Planning Team you will assist with short and long term resource planning for ground crew by producing compliant and cost effective resource availability and utilisation solutions. You will ensure efficient management of resources whilst maximising productivity and cost.

**As a Resource Analyst, you will be responsible for**:

- Conducting analysis of flight schedules, customer demographics and load factors to create a resource plan for assigned port/s, that provides adequate operational coverage to meet safety and customer metrics
- Undertaking analysis to inform operational budgets and reforecasts and maintain / modify resource plans to meet budget
- Ensuring resource plans are compliant with EBA requirements
- Updating system inputs and flight planning rules to ensure dynamic planning meets operational requirements
- Providing recommendations on opportunities to be more efficient with resource planning
- Completing ad-hoc analysis and ‘what if’ scenarios to make recommendations to stakeholders on best approach for labour allocation / mix
- Reviewing expenditure and identify areas for business and productivity improvement in line with the divisional strategy

**To be successful, you will**:

- Have demonstrated data analysis experience in a similar role with an understanding of resource management strategies, ideally within aviation
- Possess intermediate skills in MS Excel and experience in a resource management system
- The ability to put narrative to numbers, and make objective recommendations about shift design and coverage
- Have a creative approach to problem solving within a safety, cost and productivity operational environment
- Be able to prioritise and communicate effectively and engage with stakeholders
