Sheet Metal Worker

We are looking for a driven Sheetmetal Worker with 2+ years experience who wants to join our successful team. We require an experienced Sheetmetal Extraordinaire

**Hands-on part of the Role**:

- Use of hand tools and machines for cutting, bending and shaping metal sections and custom sheet metal products
- Fabricate structural metal products, such as sheet metal framework using techniques like bolting and riveting as per the drawings and the job instructions.
- Select sheet metal stocks as per the material specification in the engineering drawings
- Inspect sheet metal parts using gauges and measuring instruments to meet company quality standards.
- Assemble multiple parts to fabricate sheet products to specifications

**Technical part of the role**:

- Work with Engineering Team to develop good quality jigs or fixtures where required
- Undertake weekly and monthly maintenance of various machine tools
- Maintain servicing of tools, equipment according to the industry safety regulations
- Ensure workmanship is of high standard - related to internal and external customers
- Ensure all company processes and policies are adhered to
- Participate in implementation of continuous improvements
- Ensure in-process operations comply with established standards

You will be required to be flexible and able to work at different locations; Bayswater, Laverton, Mulgrave and Mordialloc as required operationally.

**Salary**: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
