**St Paul's is our 40-bed home **located in **Northbridge NSW**. We have opportunities for Catering Assistants to join our team on a casual basis. The shift times we have available are:

- ** Morning: 7:30am to 2:00pm**:

- ** Afternoon: 3:00pm to 8:00pm**

St Paul's is a 40-bed home offering exceptional care to all our residents. We offer a home-like environment where residents and staff are treated with compassion and respect.

In this role, you will work closely with our Chef and will assist with the preparation of fresh meals for our residents and ensuring that their nutritional requirements are met at all times. You will also deliver meals to our residents in a professional and efficient matter and maintain cleanliness in our dining room and servery areas.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an Aged Care environment;
- Knowledge in food preparation and safe food handling;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Awareness of all relevant WHS guidelines and HACCP requirements.
- Tertiary qualification in food preparation / commercial cookery (advantageous);
- COVID Vaccination
- NDIS or willing to get

**Qualifications** About You**

To be successful in this role, you have experience working in high-end hotels or similar and possess the below:

- Experience in a similar role in corporate catering, a-la-carte high end restaurants, or other prestigious institutions is preferred
- A high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness
- Strong cooking and food preparation skills including knife skills are essential
- A strong focus on high quality food production and presentation
- Hold (or willing to obtain) a Queensland Working with Children Check
- You have full, unrestricted working rights within Australia
- You are able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and prioritising
- You will have excellent communication and ability to build relationships with clients and customers
- You pride yourself in outstanding customer service and personal presentation
