Service Advisor

Mercedes-Benz Macgregor is owned by Autosports Group which has 75 dealerships across NSW, VIC, QLD and NZ, employing approximately 2000 staff and is a large listed retail automotive group representing the world’s greatest prestige and luxury automotive brands. Due to growth they are looking for a Service Advisor to join the team. **Why Should YOU Join ASG?** - Paid Parental Leave - Discounted Health Insurance - Access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offering personal and professional advice. - Family and Friends Referral Program - Internal Referral Incentive Scheme - Team Activities and BBQ’s - Opportunity to be part of community support at a local and national level. - Diversity and Inclusion Council **Responsibilities will include**: - Greeting and serving customers for the service department and updating customers on the status of their vehicle. - Explain service options and process - Communicate with colleagues to schedule and complete the necessary repairs - Order parts where applicable; - Update customer database as required and complete all relevant paperwork - Follow manufacturer and dealership warranty policies effectively and efficiently. - Preparing Repair Order and Job Sheets in preparation of customer requests to be executed through the workshop for prompt invoicing. - Prior experience as a Service Advisor will be highly regarded. - The ability to explain the value of services and repairs. - The ability to work cooperatively in a team and autonomously within a fast-paced environment. - A genuine care for external, and internal customers and the ability to de-escalate unhappy customers. - Exceptional organisational and time management skills. - Strong computer and literacy skills. - A passion for the automotive industry. - A high level of personal presentation is essential. - At Autosports Group, we celebrate diversity, inclusion, and family values.
