Facilities Manager North Terrace

**(HEO7) $98,343 - $109,989 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.**

**Continuing, full-time position available**

The Capital Projects and Facility Management (CP&FM) portfolio is responsible for the provision of facilities management and support services across the University’s property portfolio to support the University’s core learning, teaching and research activities. In this context CP&FM ensures the management of mechanical, plumbing, hydraulic, electrical, vertical transport, water treatment, fume cupboards, pest control, building, security, grounds, fire and emergency management services, cleaning, caretaking, waste management, and car parking for staff and students.

Working under limited direction, the Facility Manager - North Terrace is responsible for designated buildings on the North Terrace Campus. The role is responsible for the coordination and management of local service delivery and key personnel to ensure the smooth running of the Campus. The position will assist and support contract management. The position is also responsible for the delivery of minor capital upgrades such as minor building works.

**To be successful you will need**:

- Demonstrated experience in facilities management / maintenance services for a diverse property portfolio.
- Working knowledge of principles and practices of Facilities Management and/or business administration.
- Understanding and implementation of planned, preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Demonstrated Contractor operational management capabilities.
