About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for service passionate and highly motivated Food and Beverage Duty Manager to join our award-winning team at Stamford Plaza Adelaide on full time basis.
The Stamford Plaza Adelaide is one of Adelaide’s premier city hotels located on North Terrace, conveniently accessible by public transport and less than five minutes from Adelaide’s Rundle Mall shopping complex. The Hotel features 300+ luxury rooms and all the trimmings of a 5-star property.
To be successful in this role, we seek applicants who have a passion for hospitality and bring to life unforgettable guest experiences with the opportunity to work closely with the our Food and Beverage Leadership Team supporting and leading the our Terrace Garden’s Restaurant or our famous Argentinian restaurant, La Boca or if cocktails are your expertise, we can roster you to join the Cascades Lounge Team.
Key Responsibilities
Uphold Stamford Plaza Adelaide’s service standards, this includes immediate guest acknowledgement via verbal greeting paired with a warm smile
Have a calming influence on guest and team members, maintaining a positive and level headed demeanour during peak service periods and assisting the team with the resolution of any issues that may come your way.
Have an eye for details and venue presentation, ensuring impeccable cleanliness and good repair of the outlets addressing and rectifying any discrepancies.
About you
You will have a bright, energetic attitude, hold a current RSA and Food Handlers Certificate, in addition to:
Minium of 5 plus years of experience
An understanding of wine service including recommendations, food pairing and precise pouring skills
Strong interpersonal skills, be able to communicate openly and professionally to cater to our guests needs promptly and professionally on every occasion during your shift
Display empathy and kindness to all internal and external guests
A high level of personal presentation and grooming
Flexibility to work various rostered shifts over a seven-day roster
