To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Principal Social Investment & Indigenous Relations to join our team.
**The Role**
**Reporting to the Principal Social Investment & Indigenous Relations,** you will be accountable for managing contractual, project and governance requirements of Arrow's social investment partnerships, overseeing implementation of Social Investment Management Plan commitments and leading the implementation and management of Arrow's Indigenous Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
This is a Brisbane based position and may require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.
**In addition you will**:
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safety environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
- Manage, leverage and evaluate social investment partnerships and the Brighter Futures program with respect to the impact to external reputation, ensuring financial ROI, and contractual and reporting compliance.
- Lead the development, implementation and reporting on current RAP, and lead promotion of outcomes with Indigenous communities.
- Lead the contract management, engagement and delivery of capacity building obligations of Arrow's obligations from the Indigenous Land Use Agreements (ILUAs) and the RAP in alignment with its Social Impact Management Plan(s), ensuring effective controls are in place.
- Oversee a range of initiatives that enable communities (including Indigenous) to benefit from skills, education, training and procurement opportunities resulting from Arrow’s operations.
- Promote and maintain internal Indigenous cultural awareness, and an understanding of SIMP commitments and contribution to social licence.
**About You**
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.
**To be considered for this role, you will ideally have**:
- Relevant university degree or other professional qualification.
- Demonstrated experience implementing Indigenous employment and capacity programs or contracting opportunities.
- Experience in managing complex external environments to effectively minimise risk.
