About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for service passionate and highly motivated Food and Beverage Attendants to join our award-winning team at La Boca Bar & Grill on a casual basis.
La Boca Bar & Grill is located on North Terrace, conveniently accessible by public transport and less than five minutes from Adelaide’s Rundle Mall shopping complex.
To be successful in this role, we seek applicants who like to be of service to others, who have table service experience, this includes the subtly of upselling. Our Food and Beverage Team are dynamically flexible, they can be rostered either, in on the AM, PM shifts including weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Uphold La Boca Bar & Grill’s service standards, this includes immediate guest acknowledgement via verbal greeting paired with a warm smile
Provide exceptional service to our guests
Take guest reservations, seat parties and answer general questions about La Boca Bar & Grill, the Hotel and the local area
Assist with floor plan and cleanliness requirements prior to meal service, this includes table, set up and clearance
Memorise menu/s, offer guests educated food paring suggestions, upsell products and be able to cater for guests with dietary requests
Manage guests’ food orders and work with a team of chefs, managers and other food and beverage attendants to ensure guests have a positive experience
Strong interpersonal skills, be able to communicate openly and professionally to cater to our guests needs promptly and professionally on every occasion during your shift
Display empathy and kindness to all internal and external guests
About you
You will have a bright, energetic attitude, hold a current RSA and Food Handlers Certificate, in addition to:
An understanding of wine service including recommendations, food pairing and precise pouring skills
The ability to handle 3 or more plates at one time with ease
A high level of personal presentation and grooming
Flexibility to work various rostered shifts over a seven-day roster
Demonstrated experience as a Food and Beverage Attendant
