**Company Background**:
Our client stands at the forefront of the property management sector, dedicated to crafting and sustaining outstanding environments within shopping centers. They are seeking an Operations Manager to join the Property Management (PM) leadership team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Elevating Facilities Management**:
- Develop and integrate the facilities management business unit, fostering a culture steeped in customer centricity and disciplined consistency.
- Cultivate robust relationships across the enterprise, promoting collaborative efforts for the holistic welfare of assets in the short and long term.
**Operational Excellence**:
- Implement a nationwide facilities management, capital, and operations strategy.
- Spearhead the regional operational support team, offering guidance on facilities and center operations.
- Institute a portfolio-wide standards and procedures framework to ensure uniform property excellence in accordance with company standards.
**Security, Sustainability, and Procurement**:
- Oversee security operations, ensuring strategic approaches for the ongoing safety of shopping centers.
- Propel environmental sustainability initiatives, concentrating on energy, waste, and water reduction.
**Budgeting and Collaboration**:
- Coordinate critical aspects of the budgeting process for the portfolio, aligning with both portfolio and center requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the Development team, supplying critical insights into the design and development process for assets undergoing redevelopment.
**Stakeholder Management**:
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with major contractors, business partners, and key stakeholders.
- Champion the Operations team, ensuring their perspectives are acknowledged and comprehended throughout the organisation.
**Key Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in formulating operational strategy and implementing it at a substantial scale.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions.
- Strong leadership abilities, motivating teams cohesively toward a shared purpose.
- Methodical and systemized approach to operational management and the incorporation of standardized procedures.
- Customer-focused, adaptable, and responsive to the evolving needs of customers and stakeholders.
- Driven, self-motivated, and an innate problem solver in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
- Prior experience in the property industry is highly advantageous.
