Medical Receptionist

An exciting opportunity has become available for a part time Medical Receptionist at a busy Cardiology Clinic. The role will be mainly based in our clinic in Wonthaggi but may require working at our clinic in Leongatha Hospital to cover staff leave.

We are seeking a friendly, professional and organised Medical Receptionist. This is an opportunity for someone with strong communication and administrative skills who can work well as part of a team and independently and who thrives in a fast paced environment. Previous medical reception experience advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Welcoming patients and providing front desk service

Answering phones, managing enquiries and scheduling appointments using Clinic 2 Cloud medical software.

Patient billing and processing medicare claims.

Supporting Cardiologists and Nursing Staff with administrative tasks

Managing referrals from other healthcare providers

Scanning notes into patient files

Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times

Willingness to learn how to fit Holter monitors, Heartbugs and 24hr Blood Pressure Monitors. Full training will be provided.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
