Parks Victoria is looking for a skilled and passionate Ranger to join our team, based in Bacchus Marsh, to help care for and manage some of Victoria’s most popular and outstanding natural features.

**About the role**

Working in a team environment, your day-to-day tasks will range from visitor experience to hands on environmental works. Core duties include stakeholder management (contractors, volunteers, internal stakeholders) and works including weeding and park asset maintenance.

- Environmental skills and/or bush crew experience
- Experience working with stakeholders
- Budget management and reporting skills
- Demonstrated customer service and communication with strong interpersonal skills.

**Position in Context**

The Ranger position manages deep and picturesque gorges through rugged landscapes at Lerderderg State Park to some of the richest wildflower habitat Brisbane Ranges National Park. Long form trail bushwalking experiences, a number of campgrounds and picnic grounds. Being within an hours reach of Melbourne and Geelong these parks are important sites for tourists, education and recreation.

**We're looking for someone with**:

- Operational skils and delivery of pest plant and animal programs
- Previous experience stakeholder management
- Demonstrated experience in customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Asset, facilities and track maintenance
- A Current Resume
- A Cover Letter addressing some of the key capabilities
