Choice Consultancy is dedicated to providing personalised support to individuals with a focus on community engagement. Our client's priority is to actively participate in the community, whether it's shopping for fresh produce at Paddies Market or enjoying music either at home or in a social setting.

**Position Overview**:
As a Support Worker with Choice Consultancy, you will play a crucial role in assisting our client in achieving their goals and enhancing their quality of life. The position entails accompanying our client on outings to Paddies Market for fresh food shopping, as well as enjoying music-related activities either at home or in the community.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide compassionate and person-centred support to our client during outings and activities.
- Accompany our client to Paddies Market for shopping excursions, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Engage in meaningful conversations and foster a supportive environment during outings.
- Assist with transportation to and from designated locations.
- Encourage and facilitate our client's participation in music-related activities, whether it's attending events or enjoying music at home.
- Maintain open communication with our client and their support network.

**Requirements**:

- Compassionate and empathetic demeanour.
- Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with individuals with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Reliable transportation to and from Redfern, NSW.
- Availability to work fortnightly on Thursdays from 2-4 pm.
- Prior experience in support work or a related field is preferred but not required.
