Pacific’s Logistics Operations Team is responsible for delivering tailored supply chain services to all Nike internal and external customers. Our Vision is to create a Digital-First Supply Chain at scale through phased investments within our strategic operating model, that ensures we keep pace with the consumer.

At Nike Pacific Operations, based within our automated, state-of-the-art Melbourne Distribution Centre (DC), we serve consumers all over Pacific, by striving to deliver our products at the right time and place. To support and elevate this mindset of evolution, we are looking for a NLS (Nike Logistics Systems) Manager. In this exciting role, you will have impact by helping teams achieve their strategic ambitions and building a culture that keeps inspiring them to always improve. Whilst helping others to grow, this is also an excellent opportunity for you to take your own coaching and facilitation skills to the next level. Your leader and teammates will guide you in this journey.

This role plays an integral part in sourcing and delivering customer centric solutions within our growing logistics operations space - we are looking for someone to support and drive this growth.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will become a change champion for Nike Pacific, and lead our operational efficiency programs, in line with the designated NLS principles and methodologies.

You will activate solutions which can be scaled and demonstrate flexibility towards customer centricity.

You will foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning in the path of the day-to-day work, partnering and advocating solutions with our third party logistics (3PL) partner, and driving a "One Team" collaboration mindset. This mindset is extended to all stakeholders within your network

You will train, facilitate, coach and mentor teams and individuals in their way of working (tools, methodologies & mindset).

You are a role model for individuals and teams with regard to lean and agile mindsets and ways of working.

With your demonstrated skillset in influencing change, you will have the opportunity to shape this first in-kind role for Nike Pacific

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

Together with your colleagues, you work on continuously on improving our NLS way or working.

You will report to the Logistics Director - Pacific, and work closely with the Pacific Logistics team.

You will have touchpoints into our Pacific Operations team, though Marketplace Operations, Technology, Supply Chain Innovation and Program channels.

You will link in closely with our geography partners, predominantly based in Portland, Oregon, U.S.A, to support performance and cost reporting, as well as driving best practice through shared learnings.

Externally, you will be a key leader in driving positive supplier relationships, namely in the 3PL warehousing space across Pacific, leading engagements with our 3PL partners at both governance and operational levels.
