**Who we are looking for**
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst who is passionate about driving continuous improvement across our supply chain operations. In this role, you will leverage your analytical expertise to identify inefficiencies in product delivery and related processes, recommend actionable changes, and manage essential functions such as invoicing, electronic billing, and shipment tracing. As a proactive team member, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective flow of goods, ultimately enhancing our operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to inventory, supplier performance, production rates, and logistics.
- Develop actionable insights and detailed reports to support strategic decision-making, ensuring that stakeholders have clear, data-driven guidance.
- Create and refine forecasting models to predict customer demand and market trends. Use these forecasts to align production schedules and adjust inventory levels.
- Align production schedules and inventory levels with anticipated demand to avoid stock imbalances, and monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Work closely with suppliers and customers to assess performance, negotiate contracts and invoices, and ensure the timely delivery of quality materials.
- Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes to ensure that products reach customers efficiently.
- Optimize routes and overall logistics operations to minimize delays and reduce costs, contributing to both operational efficiency and enhanced customer satisfaction.
**Skills and Experiences**
- Tertiary education in bachelor’s degrees or above is highly preferred but not essential.
- Minimum of 1 year’s working experience, preferably in the auto parts industry.
- Familiarity with automated systems for tacking orders, inventory, invoicing and tracking payment from customers and suppliers.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for interfacing with cross-functional teams, suppliers and customers.
- History of effective collaboration with departments such as suppliers, sales, logistics and finance to ensure a smooth, integrated supply chain operation.
- Experience in facilitating process changes and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in Mandarin/Cantonese and familiarity with essential IT systems is highly regarded.
