Full Time Supply Chain Analyst

We, ACA Pacific Pty Ltd, are a growing business based in Port Melbourne. We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis.
As our Supply Chain Analyst, you are responsible to analyse product delivery and supply chain operation to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements as well as oversea routing activities, including invoicing and shipment tracking to ensure timely and cost-effective operation. Your main duties include:
- Develop and support supply chain and procurement strategies to improve resource use, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Create supply plans using sales forecasts, customer orders, and historical demand data.
- Ensure compliance with local supply chain regulations and standards.
- Collect and analyse supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and optimise operational efficiencies.
- Support cost-reduction initiatives by helping reduce obsolete inventory and optimise total material spend.
- Conduct inventory analysis and prepare reports to monitor stock levels, identify discrepancies, and support optimal inventory management.
- Review planning and procurement systems to ensure meeting current operational needs.
- Provide supply chain insights and recommendations to management based on analysis of key metrics and supplier performance.
- Assess supply chain risks by developing strategies and contingency plans to resolve challenges and minimise disruptions.
- Prepare and recommend proposals to revise methods, alter workflows, and support innovation and process improvement across the supply chain.
- Assist in implementing approved recommendations, including changes in processes, workflows, and system usage.
- Train and mentor sales and purchasing staff on supply planning systems, supplier coordination, and inventory management.
- Assist with day-to-day operations, such as raising invoices, shipment tracking, and keeping accurate inventory records.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain planning, forecasting, and supplier performance management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Hold a bachelor degree in supply chain management or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
Salary package: $75,000 and $85,000 a year plus superannuation, commensurate with experience
