CVGT has a fantastic career opportunity for a Dental Assistant Traineeship, which is the ideal opportunity for individuals looking to take the first steps to a successful and fulfilling career. We seek an individual who is energetic and motivated towards developing your skills and qualifications through a combination of on-the-job experience in a supportive team environment and formal training leading to a Nationally recognised qualification.

The Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting dentists, hygienists and therapists with a variety of dental procedures. This includes preparing the room and materials used in the various treatments, cleaning the room and ensuring disposal of all equipment, correctly. The Dental Assistant is also responsible. For providing assistance during the procedures e.g. passing instruments, operating suction equipment and assisting the dentist with putting the patient at ease.
