**Vehicle Repair Technician** - **Auto Electrical focused repairs**

Amtek is an Australian owned and operated company with over 200 employees in our Moorebank warehouse

We specialise in building customised engineered vehicles for a range of government and private clients including NSW Ambulance, NSW Police, SES, Disability access, Fire and Rescue, retirement & nursing homes, special needs schools and many more.

**We are currently recruiting for an experienced and Qualified Auto Electrician to work within our repairs division for our Emergency Service client, working on a range of Fleet vehicles.**

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Repairs on a range of Vehicle electrical equipment such as light bars, message boards, sirens, antennas, speaker units.
- Diagnostics and fault finding on a range of customised vehicles.
- Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components.
- Using test equipment to locate electrical and electronic malfunctions.
- Repairs of non-electrical and body mechanical components
- Working in a customer facing environment
- Carrying out repairs within allocated time frames or efficiently as possible.
- You will work well within a team and have a high attention to detail working towards strict deadlines.

**What we need from you**:

- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology and or engineering
- Minimum 5 years related experience working on aftermarket custom vehicles
- Vehicle Repairers licence
- Automotive Air Condition licence preferred
- Ability to trouble shoot and diagnose in a fast paced environment.
- Motivated, reliable, focused, productive
- Work well under pressure and towards deadlines.
- Flexibility and adaptable to cross train through other areas of operations.
- Good communication skills, with a positive nature.
- Work hours between 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday
- Clear Police check is required for this role.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Auto Electrical diagnosis: 4 years (required)
