Mechanical Drafter

**About the role**:
With a significant pipeline of opportunities identified across the Transport and Technology sectors, UGL are seeking to appoint an experienced **Mechanical Drafter** working in the major projects space based in Melbourne:
Some of the key responsibilities but not limited to:

- Produce and develop 3D models using Revit MEP to the project requirements and standards
- Develop a thorough understanding of the overall project and effectively communicate such understanding to the applicable Project Team and/or direct reports.
- Delegate tasks to drafters and follow up the progress with drafters and engineers if required.
- Assist the Digital Engineering Lead with day-to-day resourcing and workloads

**About You**
- At least 10 years' experience in hands on drafting / modelling production.
- Must have 10 years’ experience in relevant industry (Building services or infrastructure)
- Highly proficient in MEP Revit and Autocad
- Shop detail skills desirable but not essential
- Experience working in road tunnel projects desirable.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
