**About the Role**
The Department of Education at Swinburne University of Technology is seeking a passionate and forward-thinking academic to join our dynamic team. Located within the School of Social Sciences, Media, Film and Education, our Department is driven by a strong commitment to social impact, educational excellence, and community engagement. We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced educator with a specialisation in **literacy** to contribute to our initial teacher education programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This role will involve designing and delivering high-quality learning experiences across a range of blended, hybrid, and online formats. You will play a key role in shaping and enhancing literacy education across the curriculum, while also supporting ongoing course development and alignment. Your work will contribute to national accreditation processes and engagement with external partners and professional bodies.

**Qualifications**
- A Bachelor in Education and/or Postgraduate Teaching Degree
- A Doctoral qualification relevant to Education
