As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for organising, storing, and maintaining equipment and materials for various events. This is a physically demanding role that involves working with a range of event supplies, including furniture, lighting, audio-visual equipment, and décor. Your efforts will directly contribute to the success of events, from corporate gatherings to large-scale festivals and weddings.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with truck unloading and loading.
- Organise and maintain the warehouse, ensuring items are stored safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure equipment is in good condition.
- Pack, label, and prepare items for transport to and from event sites.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, power tools and pallet jacks.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.

**Key Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role (preferably in the event industry).
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 25kg).
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Forklift license.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.13 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)
- Forklift Licence (required)
