Galaxy Personnel specialises in the supply of Mechanical Fitters across the Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Packaging industries.

We currently have several labour hire and permanent vacancies for day shift and afternoon shift across West Gippsland region. These positions are commutable from Pakenham, Berwick areas and provide the opportunity to work in our beautiful Gippsland region.

We require experienced Fitters to carry out the following duties:

- Preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Troubleshooting and fault finding
- TIG welding an advantage.
- Machining an advantage
- Pneumatics and Hydraulics an advantage

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Warragul, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
