As an **Assistant Venue Manager**in M&G Café & Harvest Buffet, you will be a pro-active and enthusiastic individual who is an expert within leading a large and diverse team. In this role you will assist with the day-to-day operation of these high volume venues providing effective management of a dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your food and beverage leadership and customer service skills. **A few of your responsibilities**: - Maintain a high level of guest focus in all services, ensuring that guest service delivery is effective and efficient - Coordinate operational functions that include rostering requirements, standard operating procedures, training and performance management - Ensure compliance with the Responsible Service of Alcohol and relevant provisions of the Liquor Act - Assist with the selection, training and development of the team to ensure timely recruitment and career growth opportunities - Assist the Venue Manager to achieve operational and financial targets **What are we looking for**: - Food & Beverage leadership experience with a thorough knowledge of food and beverages - A passion and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and leading operational teams to deliver great guest experiences - Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests and team members - Highly organised, accountable, and eager, with a high attention to detail - Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol - RMLV/Approved Manager an advantage **About you**: With your outstanding leadership and hospitality background, you will take pride in ensuring a safe and unforgettable experience for our guests.
