Retail Security Officer

Cleveland, Australia G-Tech Integrated Security Full time

We are looking for **an experienced security officer** for **Cleveland Central Shopping Centre**. This will be a **permanent part-time**, offering **25-35+ hours per week**, depending on availability and preference. The role includes **weekend shifts**, and we pay the **Level 3 SSIA Award Rate**.
- **Strong communication skills** and the ability to engage professionally with clients and the public.
- **Physically fit**, as the role involves significant walking.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a **front-facing retail security role**, which includes managing **youth disturbances (e.g., scooters in the centre)**and responding to **first aid incidents**.
- **Required Certifications & Availability**:

- Certificate II in Security Operations (QLD)
- Own transport [public transport is unreliable to the area]
- Up to date First Aid & CPR certification
- Availability for **day, afternoon, and weekend shifts**:
**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
