**Role Description**

Based in our Sydney office and reporting directly to the Head of Marketing and Operations, this new role has been created to support the national organisation’s significant current and forecasted growth. You will be required to develop and implement marketing and communications plans to build brand awareness and drive business development, whilst proactively supporting a high-performance culture by assisting in the delivery of internal and external communications and other marketing materials.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and writing content for company websites and social media platforms
- Writing thought leadership and industry focused articles
- Coordinating marketing initiatives including researching and organising sponsorship and event opportunities
- Producing capability statements and corporate copy
- Website development
- Producing promotional materials including liaising with suppliers
- Managing corporate memberships
- Writing and coordinating company awards entries
- Ensuring brand guidelines are consistent and adhered to across the business nationally for both internal and external documentation.

In addition, you will assist and support the bid team with overflow duties when required, including writing corporate content, project case studies, and staff CVs.

Applicants with a background in corporate communications, journalism or PR, or who have experience in the property, construction or professional services industries will be highly regarded.

You will possess the following skills:

- A tertiary qualification in Communications/Writing/Marketing or similar
- A confident writer, proof-reader and editor with demonstrated experience in positioning and targeting messages to different audiences
- Demonstrated experience in long-form and short-form copy, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- An exceptional eye for detail with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and quality control
- Advanced organisational and time management skills
- High level communication skills and experience working with a diverse stakeholder group, including senior stakeholders and executives
- The ability to research and source information independently
- Strong initiative with a proactive and fluid approach to your position.
