I am a full-time YouTube creator and designer who helps others design a more comfortable, beautiful and functional space, while keeping it accessible for a range of budgets. We have a monthly series called House To Home - where I personally makeover subscriber’s home, showcasing creative ideas and solutions around the house.

It is very rewarding to help clients design their dream home, and sharing these ideas to millions worldwide so they too can turn their house into a home.

I am looking for a part time/freelance video editor to join our team and help transform raw project footage into a beautiful, inspiring, and entertaining video for our platform.

This is the perfect role for someone who has video editing experience and would like to build on that in a dynamic, start-up like business. There’s no bureaucratic paperwork or super-long protocols to follow. You’ll have lots of freedom and creative control to hopefully impact millions of people.

Of course, as the channel itself surrounds home and interior design, I am also looking for someone who shares a passion or interest in these topics. Not only will that make you a better fit for us, but you’ll also get more fulfilment and enjoyment from your work.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Organise and edit our main YouTube videos. You will start with the raw footage (and Voice Over) and edit them into compelling video content that will live on our YouTube channel.
- Identify creative solutions for difficult editing problems (and communicate directly to identify additional content that needs to be filmed).
- Finalise video by mixing sound, color grading, exporting, and uploading the final videos to a shared Google Drive.
- Edit social content to help us tap into more audience (this may include reformatting content to natively fit IG stories, IGTV, TikTok, etc).

**The Ideal Applicant**
- Experience working as a video editor. I don’t care about number of years as long as your work is amazing.
- You are really good at editing (better than me) so that I can fully trust that you’ll handle all of the post-production and that it’ll look absolutely sick.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Experience working with motion graphics.
- An understanding of Adobe After Effects.
- An understanding of and interest in the creator economy, and knowledge of the levers to gain growth on YouTube and other platforms.
- You’ve seen / read / heard enough of my content to understand the content strategy, tone and style.
- You’ve got genuine interest in interior design, but other facets of design (architecture, industrial, graphics, etc) are also welcome. Most of our content are based around interior design (and home organisation), so having an interest in them will make things much more fun.
- You’re good at figuring stuff out. I’m a firm believer that everyone (no matter the achievement or position) are all learning and figuring stuff out, so you don’t have to know everything, but the ability and willingness to learn new skill is extremely important.
- You’re able to work to shared deadlines and have content ready to publish when it’s needed.
