This leading global bank within the heart of the Syndey CBD seek a talented Operational Risk professional who is adept in translating complex information in a manner which drives best practice around risk management.

**Your new role**

As a Operational Risk Analyst, you will take an end-to-end group wide view across a specific portfolio which touches all divisions within the organisation. You will also be responsible for:

- Working with the team to promote and implement operational risk management practices into the business
- Assist Risk Managers to delivery of Operational Risk Programme
- To ensure the risk and control process deficiencies are identified and remediated
- Completing risk and control matrices to communicate the appropriate strategy with control owners
- Develop and maintain a good understanding of the industry practise and regulatory expectation
- To maintain the operational risk framework and policies are up-to-dated and appropriated
- Provides insights into potential risk and compliance issues and impacts to ensure the appropriate measure are taken upfront
- Help to design and delivery of training programme as required by business

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Minimum 2 years experience in operational risk and controls role previously
- Strong knowledge of financial services especially banks
- Great knowledge of banking product and risk management in general
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Expert knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation
- Mandarin speaking is a MUST
- Full working right in Australia
