**Quality and Compliance Manager - Disability Services**

Establishing a culture of excellence and best practice across community and residential disability services within Western Sydney. The Quality and Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing and driving quality and compliance frameworks across this vibrant and innovative NFP organisation that strives to create more opportunities in people’s lives

**The core focus of the role**:

- Lead operations to ensure the organisation is compliant and meets the requirements of the NDIS Practice Standards and other relevant standards
- Develop the quality, safeguarding and compliance capability across the organisation by training, educating and mentoring staff and key stakeholders, supporting the strategic, quality and continuous improvement agenda
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data stored in the Client Management System database and corresponding funder databases
- Support the Board, CEO and SLT in the execution of their responsibilities through the reporting and provision of relevant data, information and advice on key strategies, trends and issues to ensure a best practice approach
- Engage with key stakeholders to maintain and foster key relationships

To have success in the role you will be highly motivated, with a keen eye for detail. With a positive, solutions-focused, and a ‘get stuck in’ mindset bringing experience from a similar role. You will also have;
- Strong experience in a Quality, Risk and Compliance role, with a relevant qualification in Quality Management, Auditing and/or Risk would be highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability in establishing and embedding governance and reporting frameworks and evaluating service quality and customer safety
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislative, ethical and practice requirements relevant to NDIS Commission compliance requirements, NDIS Quality and Safeguarding and restrictive practices
- Experience within the disabilities and/or community services Industry and understanding of NDIS policies and procedures
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (verbal and written).
