**Overview**

**Duties**

Include but are not limited to:

- Collect, clean, and organize data from various internal and external sources.
- Maintain and update data systems and databases.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues within Microsoft Azure environments.
- Provide technical support via Microsoft Teams and phone.
- Perform routine server support and system maintenance tasks.
- Use ticketing systems (e.g., Jira) to log, track, and resolve incidents.
- Ensure all support is delivered within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Document technical procedures and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
- Analyse large financial datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Support feature engineering and evaluate model performance.
- Implement and monitor anomaly detection systems across business units.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel.
- Present findings and insights in a clear and visually effective manner to stakeholders.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and business goals.
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, IT, and business users to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Translate technical findings into non-technical language for broader understanding.
- Identify opportunities to improve data workflows and operational efficiencies.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging tools/technologies in data analytics.

**Essential Skills**

The following are desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, within the finance industry
- Transformative approach to leadership that inspires and empowers others
- SQL and Python proficiency (including pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn)
- Experience in using Microsoft Azure
- Power BI and data visualization expertise
- Strong financial data analysis and anomaly detection skills
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services
- Clear communication and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
