**The role**

This role is responsible for the operational monitor and influence of Motor Assessing activities, ensuring efficient and compliant execution of weather event controls and operational performance of external assessing partners.

The role requires strong leadership, relationship management, and a deep understanding of the Motor Assessing industry.

This role will report to the Specialist Assessing Manager in order to alleviate the load but also to transfer the skill and broaden the succession pool for the Specialist Assessing Manager role.

**Compliance & Risk Management**
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant legislative, regulatory, and compliance requirements within the FSR environment.Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.

**What experience you’ll bring**
- Leadership experience for a minimum of 2 years in Assessing and or people leadership environment
- Ideally a good understanding of the legislative, regulatory and compliance obligations.
- Cultivating Strong Commercial Relationships
- Ability to make decisions and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional customer service skills written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a complex environment, prioritise tasks and organise workload effectively.
- Ability to develop strong relationships at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Broad ability to drive for results, focus on outcomes and well-developed negotiation skills.
- Trade qualified in Panel Beating, Spray Painting, or CERT IV Motor Vehicle Loss Assessing
- Deep understanding of Motor Assessing systems, control models and end to end claims managementExperience with Solera Assessing is essential
