**About this Position**:
**We have an exciting part-time opportunity for an Insurance and Administration Officer to join our team.**This position is primarily based at our Corporate Centre in Goonellabah, working in a small and dedicated team that are experts in providing our organisation with governance advice and developing robust frameworks. The role is a p**ermanent part-time position, working 21 hours per week.**:

**What we trust you to deliver**:

- **Provide efficient and accurate administrative and support services to the Governance & Customer Service Manager in line with corporate policies, procedures, directives and legislative requirements.**:

- **Develop and maintain standardised reporting on insurance, including reporting relating to Councils public liability and property claims.**:

- **Ensuring accurate and timely information is captured within corporate systems**:

- **Assess insurance claims and co-ordinate responses in collaboration with relevant managers.**:

- **Liaise with Council’s insurer in relation to insurance claims.**:

- **Assist with the development and implementation of other key projects within the Governance team**:
**What you'll need to be successful**:

- **Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent work experience**:

- **Ability to exercise diplomacy and confidentiality within a sensitive political environment**:

- **Computer literacy skills and high levels of accuracy with data entry**:

- **Current Class C Driver's Licence**:
