MBV represents just over 6,500 members within the construction industry, including large and small builders across the domestic and commercial sectors, as well as apprentices, suppliers, and manufacturers.

**About the role**:
As the first point of contact with Master Builders, the Receptionist uses a wealth of knowledge to deliver information and solutions to members and the general public, providing fast and efficient service resulting in customer satisfaction and total peace of mind. This is a part - time position, working 5 days a week approximately 25 hours a week.

**Key Knowledge, Skills and Attributes**:

- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with members of the building & construction industry and Master Builders members
- Excellent rapport building skills
- Attention to detail
- Flexible and reactive in a fast pace environment
- Results Orientated
- Meets targets and continually self manages

**Key Position Tasks**:

- Welcome visitors to the office and assist with queries
- Respond to general Master Builders telephone enquiries as required
- Distribute training information request by members and non members
- Complete daily mail duties
- Sell and promote services and products from the shop
- Enter training data and maintain records

**Prior Experience**:

- Victorian Certificate of Education or equivalent.
- Associate qualification obtained through external studies.
