Sports Direct, powered by Accent Group, is making its debut in Australia and New Zealand - and we’re looking for a driven and experienced Store Manager to lead the launch of our very first store. This isn’t your average management gig, it’s your opportunity to be at the forefront of an iconic brand, leading a brand-new team, driving the standards, shaping store culture from day one and playing a key role in scaling our presence across ANZ.
About the Role
Based at our brand-new store in Fountain Gate, you’ll lead from the front - inspiring, coaching, and developing a passionate team alongside your in-store leadership team. You’ll own the numbers, elevate the customer experience and collaborate closely with your team to drive results and build something special.
Day by Day, you will be
- Bring a premium, service focussed approach to drive sales, hit KPIs, and make your mark in a high-profile store launch
- Lead and empower a dynamic team through coaching, training, and goal setting
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly store, team and individual performance - celebrate wins and close the gaps
- Nail wage control and rostering to keep the business sharp and efficient
- Bring the energy to visual merchandising, stock management, and shrink prevention
- Create a safe, inclusive, and high-performing environment for your team and customers

What you Bring
- 1+ years of Store Management experience in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong commercial acumen - you know your sales figures, wage % and stock metrics
- Passion for people development and a proven record of team success
- A high attention to detail - your floor is always on point
- Operationally savvy with experience in rostering, visual merchandising, and loss prevention
- A true ‘Make it Happen’ mindset - solutions-focused and performance-driven
