The successful applicant needs to be able to demonstrate:

- Qualifications or extensive recent experience in teaching a range of creative, visual or media arts and design
- Effective and consistent use of high impact teaching strategies to target continuous improvement in the development of skills and achievement levels for their students.
- A demonstrated ability to foster an inclusive and positive learning environment with an understanding of effective differentiation strategies.
- An ability to use and adapt to using technology creatively, seeking to connect students with innovative tools that engage and inspire them.
- An enthusiastic, positive and creative mindset that seeks to innovate and promote diversity of opportunities for staff, students and families.
- Practical knowledge and/or experience of trauma-informed practices.
- An ability to teach or desire to learn to teach across the full age range (Year 7 to year 12).
