**Position Summary**:
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and proactive Support Workers to provide community access support to our NDIS participants. The successful applicant will assist participants to engage in social, recreational, and community-based activities, enhancing their independence and overall well-being.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Community Engagement**:
Assist clients in accessing social, recreational, and educational activities (e.g., appointments, shopping, events).

Plan and coordinate outings based on clients’ interests and goals.

**Personal Care**: Provide support with mobility, meals, and hygiene as needed.

**Transportation**:Safely transport clients using a reliable, insured vehicle.

**Documentation**: Accurately record client progress, incidents, and feedback.

**Communication**: Collaborate with families, team members, and healthcare professionals.

**Safety Compliance**: Adhere to manual handling, infection control, and risk management protocols.

**Client Empowerment**: Encourage decision-making and skill development to foster independence.

**Community Partnerships**: Build relationships with local organizations to enhance service opportunities.

**Qualifications & Experience**

**Essential**:
Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent.

Current First Aid, CPR, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

QLD Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.

Experience supporting people with disabilities or aged care needs.

Desirable: Knowledge of NDIS frameworks and community resources.

Pay: $33.96 - $53.24 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
