**About the role**

Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members’ world better. In this newly created role as a **Compliance Manager** in our Risk & compliance Division, you are responsible for ensuring the various components of Australian Retirement Trust’s RMF’s and particularly the Compliance Policies are embedded within the 1st line Business Units. The role provides the business with comprehensive analysis and guidance to enable compliance with existing and changing regulatory obligations.

In conjunction with others in the Compliance team, the Compliance Manager provides advice and support to Australian Retirement Trust Business Units to promote effective risk management and a healthy compliance culture.

This role will mostly support and advise the **Digital Growth Marketing** team to ensure all marketing activities, including Digital Advertising, content, social media, news, PR, comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Key accountabilities will include:

- Ensure the Australian Retirement Trust Boards and entities continually meet their licence and regulatory obligations including obligations relating to the APRA, ASIC, OAIC, AUSTRAC, FSC and others
- Ensure the Compliance policies, procedures and tools are appropriate and effective in supporting the RMF and regulatory obligations
- Provide advice on complex compliance matters to Australian Retirement Trust’s business units ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, licence provisions, relevant risk, and compliance frameworks, Australian Retirement Trust’s Due Diligence Program and Board policies

**About you**

You are an excellent communicator and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams. Besides your experience in a Compliance role within the Financial Services industry you also have in-depth knowledge of digital marketing practices, including online advertising, social media, and content marketing.
Furthermore, your skills, experience and qualifications may include the following:

- Knowledge and understanding of RG 234
- Knowledge of Corporations Act 2001, Corporations Regulations 2001 and ASIC Regulatory Guides
- Knowledge of regulatory bodies’ (e.g. APRA, ASIC, AOIC, AUSTRAC, ACMA) policy and guidelines
- Knowledge of industry association rules (particularly FSC, ASFA)
