**About the role**

Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members’ world better. As a **Compliance Manager **in our Risk & Compliance Division, you are responsible for ensuring the various components of Australian Retirement Trust’s RMF’s and particularly the Compliance Policies are embedded within the 1st line Business Units. The role provides the business with comprehensive analysis and guidance to enable compliance with existing and changing regulatory obligations.

In conjunction with others in the Compliance team, the Compliance Manager provides advice and support to Australian Retirement Trust Business Units to promote effective risk management and a healthy compliance culture.

Key accountabilities will include:

- Ensure the Compliance policies, procedures and tools are appropriate and effective in supporting the RMF and regulatory obligations
- Ensure the Australian Retirement Trust Boards and entities continually meet their licence and regulatory obligations including obligations relating to the APRA, ASIC, OAIC, AUSTRAC, FSC etc.
- Provide advice on complex compliance matters to Australian Retirement Trust’s business units ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, licence provisions, relevant risk, compliance frameworks, and Board policies

With a keen eye for detail and integrity in handling sensitive information, you thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem solving skills to assess risks will see you implement effective solutions.

Furthermore, your skills, experience and qualifications may include the following:

- Experience in policy development and embedment
- Knowledge of Corporations Act 2001, Corporations Regulations 2001 and ASIC Regulatory Guides
- Knowledge of regulatory bodies’ (e.g. APRA, ASIC, AOIC, AUSTRAC, ACMA) policy and guidelines
