**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a **Research and Capability Specialist** to be part of our Advanced Capability Unit, Cybercrime Squad, State Crime Command. The Research & Capability Specialist contributes to the technical research, development, implementation, maintenance and support of the NSWPF Digital Intelligence Support Capability. The role directly supports sworn Digital Intelligence Support Operatives in conducting authorised technical operations and providing digital intelligence and evidence collection capabilities in support of NSWPF investigations.

An opportunity exists for an individual who has a innate curiosity to overcome technical limitations impacting Law Enforcement. If you can significantly contribute to meaningful outcomes by building, breaking and understanding the latest technology, this job maybe for you.
