We are currently looking for our next bubble tea makers to join our team at Gong Cha Newtown.

We are hiring for a part time position to work 3 days between Monday to Friday at the hours of 10am - 5pm.

We are looking for team members who show/can:

- High levels of dedication, enthusiasm and a passion for customer engagement.
- Attention to detail, self reliant and proactive
- Willingness to learn and be part of a fast paced team
- Responsible and accuracy in cash handling
- Must be available during the Spring Summer months
- Previous bubble tea experience is preferred.

Job Responsibilities include:

- Prepares and sells beverages by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques.
- Front of shop sales taking orders while paying attention to details. This includes, preferences of tea, level of sugar, ice, toppings etc)
- Process customer payments
- Describe menu items to customers or suggest products or highlight current promotional items.
- Provide customers with product details such as tea blend, ingredients or preparation description.
- Take customer orders and convey to team for preparation
- Check temperatures for freezers, refrigerators or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Stock customer service stations with consumables
- Recieve or stock supplies or retail products
- Clean service or seating areas
- Clean staff common areas
- Set up or restock product displays
- Wrap, label or date food items for storage
- Demonstrate the use of equipments such as steamer, sealer, sugar machine
- Clean service stations and kitchen at end of day
- Clear garbage at end of day
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organisation standards and sanitisation regulations

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Food handling: 1 year (preferred)
