**The Role**:
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will assist with the effective and efficient delivery and control of stores and equipment, with a focus on increasing productivity for the Sites maintenance function.

This is a 38-hour Monday to Friday waged role with shift times of 7.00am to 3.45pm Monday to Thursday & 7.00am to 12.00pm on Fridays. This position will be predominately based in South Guildford, Palmer Barracks, all uniforms are supplied.

**Other duties include**:

- Operate basic machinery/equipment, e.g. pedestrian operated forklifts, automatic strapping machines
- Perform routine packing duties, e.g. assemble, pack and strap cartons, affix labels
- Undertake labouring tasks associated with the receipt, transfer and stacking of stores
- Maintain work area in a clean and safe condition

**Skills and Experience**:

- Suitable experience in a stores, logistics or warehousing environment
- Demonstrated experience in managing the issue and receipt of repair parts, specialist tools and principal items within a workshop environment
- Exceptional customer service experience
- Good literacy & numeracy
- MILIS system experience desirable
- Forklift license essential
- Driver's License essential
- Able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security clearance pass.
