About the role
The Head of Investment is responsible for the overall management of media relationships and Investment output of the Investment and Accountability teams, ensuring strict adherence to OMG's process with effective use of agency resources.
What does a typical day look like?
- Overall management, delivery and quality control of the buying and negotiation process across all media vendors (including digital publishers), ensuring effective use of resources including Activation resource, processes and brand clarity/differentiator.
- Management of an innovative and effective best in market investment community, leveraging marketplace knowledge and the combined OMG trading volume to improve client objectives while delivering commercial outcomes for the business.
- In conjunction with Group Investment Directors, be the spokesperson for all market related investment questions from media, clients, auditors & OMG global investment team.
- Package & sell OMG's Investment skills & excellence in new business environments, ensure clients of OMG feel unwavering reassurance that by partnering with OMG agencies to handle their media investment - that they are in the safe hands of talented professionals.
- Work in conjunction with the COO and National Head of Digital to drive digital transformation and evolve agency workflow, process and systems specifically across the investment team (ie; programmatic accountability). Taking into account a macro view of how this impacts the business in other areas.
- Support and assist with implementing organizational change in areas such as productivity, automation and agility whilst ensuring the right capabilities and skillsets exist for the future.

About your skills and experience
- Tertiary qualified, ideally with min. 10+ years of relevant media experience demonstrating strong media buying (and to a lesser degree media planning) experience.
- Enviable negotiation and analytical skills.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills internal and external, written and verbal.
- Be an experienced and proven manager of a team.
