Our client is a successful, established fund manager with a growing team, and a truly unique market offering with a combination of direct funds and investment solutions created by global affiliate managers. The fund has a culture where you can really get things done and there's a highly entrepreneurial spirit. This role has come about due to growth and a need to provide supplementary value to clients and future clients. It's a diverse and broad role where you will work with all areas of the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Represent the fund at conferences, in the media and act as a talking head for the internally managed portfolios and act as an investment specialist for their affiliate funds
- Attend client meetings and roadshows with the distribution team to assist in presenting the products
- Attend with other Portfolio Managers client review calls and meetings
- Under the guidance of the Head of Manager Research, complete new manager onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing DD
- Act as a member of the Investment committee and asset allocation committee
- When requested prepare materials for the investment committee
- Prepare written content as and when requested by the distribution team
- Assist with product design (investment, compliance and operational set up) for new products that the fund might launch
- Participate and complete materials requested by clients for DD
- Participate and prepare materials for Research Ratings and Asset consultant reviews
- Travel to client meeting as and when requested

**Experience & Personality Required**:

- 6+ years’ experience from the investments space
- Ideally you will come from a background of asset consulting or be an investment specialist within a fund
- Experience in presenting and a very high level of written and verbal communication
- Ideally an outgoing personality, comfortable engaging with clients and internal stakeholders

This is a highly successful and motivated business and they have further growth plans. It will be an exciting role and will need someone who handle the challenge of working in a newly created role.
