We are expanding and now have exciting opportunities available for 15 experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our Mungari mobile maintenance team to service our three underground mines.

About the role
With exciting growth happening across our operations, we are now looking for 15 experienced underground Heavy Diesel Fitters to join the maintenance team at our Mungari Operations, 28km from central Kalgoorlie.
Our Heavy Diesel Fitters safely perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance work underground and in our surface workshops to ensure the reliability and availability of our fleet of mostly Sandvik underground mobile equipment. This includes: DD421 jumbos, Atlas longhole drills, LH517i loaders and TH663i/TH551i trucks, along with standard underground auxiliary gear.
 
About you
- Strong commitment to safety as a way of work
- Working knowledge of personal risk assessment (e.g. Take5 process)
- You hold at least a Certificate III in Engineering (Heavy Diesel Fitter/Mechanic or a similar relevant trade qualification)
- Have proven experience working underground and in maintaining underground mobile equipment
- OEM Sandvik training would be highly regarded.
