**The Role**

Key Responsibilities
- Running day to day Operations of the Engineering and Design Team
- Planning and overseeing electrical design development, change and functionality
- Directing the formulation of electrical engineering strategies, policies and plans
- Providing consultation and advice on electrical methods and procedures
- Liaising and collaborating with other divisions/departments
- Work with Division Manager on selection and hiring of staff
- Coordinating activities of Electrical Design staff
- Support to functions of the Engineering and Design division for Tender Development, Project Delivery, Operations and R&D activities.
- Responsible for compliance with OHS policies, ensuring workplace compliance, and reporting hazards and near misses
- Foster a workforce culture of excellence, innovation, honesty, and teamwork

**About You**
- Bachelors or Post Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Extensive demonstrated engineering management experience
- Advanced technical knowledge of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), PV, solar, and other renewable technology
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to drive team objectives and engage with key stakeholders and clients
- Focused on the people and culture of the engineering and design division
