**MAC VISION**: TO BE THE WORLD'S LEADING MAKEUP ARTISTRY BRAND SERVING BOTH MAKEUP ARTISTS AND CUSTOMERS, WHILE SUPPORTING THE CREDO "ALL AGES, ALL RACES, ALL GENDERS.” **Description**: The Business Manager is responsible for maintaining the total operation of their assigned store and/or supervise surrounding stores in their designated region, according to the needs of the business. The Business Manager is responsible for the hiring, training and development of the M.A.C Artists and oversee the development of the management team and the ongoing development and advancement of the entire team. They will generate sales through their team, incremental business, perform outstanding customer service, and maximise profits by controlling expenses. The Business Manager must develop strong working relationships with their David Jones Retail Partners and Area Retail Manager of their region, and head office support departments. The Business Manager is responsible for planning and implementing a strong Business plan in line with the current marketing calendar at least three months in advance **Responsibilities**: Drive sales & marketing activities to achieve sales targets and actively ensure daily management of store. - Determine and communicate team sales goals and hold staff accountable for results in accordance with the company’s business practices. - Review and analyse sales performance and advise the ARM of full year, half and quarter fiscal projections, implementing strategic business plans within agreed guidelines. - Analyse competitor activity and penetration risk, and implement innovative business strategies in line with MAC guidelines to drive sales, increase/maintain floor rankings and protect the business. - Set and breakdown incremental business targets per quarter and annually to drive growth, drive artists and team to achieve targets, and report results to ARM and other key stakeholders. **Qualifications**: - Excellent customer Service skills - Previous experience in Sales/Goal driven environment is desirable - Experience in leading and supervising people required Management experience gained from a retail environment advantageous - Excellent communication skills, leadership, organizational and time management skill
