Vehicle Painting Apprenticeship

**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are currently seeking a fulltime spray painting apprentice to join Shephard Transport equipment at their warehouse in Larapinta, Brisbane.

Undertaking this three year apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to be become a qualified spray painter and earn your **AUR32420 Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology**

You will be responsible for and contribute to:

- Assisting senior team members with vehicle spray painting
- Preparing vehicles for painting - including trailers, body, chassis
- Sanding and masking vehicles
- Cleaning and maintaining the spray booth and equipment
- Following all safety guidelines and regulations

ABOUT YOU
- Have the desire to learn and have a positive attitude
- Energetic & proactive, acceptive of change/cross training - willingness to learn and grow
- Great communication and interpersonal skills - confidence to ask questions
- Attention to detail and basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Good safety awareness
- Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol test and police check
