**Job Description**:
This is a new position to support our growing team in Melbourne and will allow you to operate across a multi-functional business, working alongside Project Managers, Engineers, Designers and Civil/Structural Drafters to deliver some of our major projects.

As a Cadet Drafter you will work as part of a team to assist with delivery of Energy team design projects covering Transmission & Distribution, Generation and Industry. This role is a developmental role where you will grow your skill base and acquire a more specialised understanding of drafting and design concepts and processes using AutoCAD and other software packages.

As a Cadet Electrical Drafter in our Energy team some key responsibilities will be as follows:
+ Ability to work as part of a highly motivated team;
+ Positive attitude and good communication skills;
+ Problem solving skills;
+ Interest in gaining electrical design knowledge through on the job experience;
+ Producing designs and associated electrical engineering drawings not limited to;
- Single Line Diagrams / Protection Control Diagrams - Assembled Forms - Schematics - Equipment Layouts and sections - Wiring & Control Diagrams - Cable Schedules

+ Develop high quality drawing and checking skills;
+ Liaison with designers and project team engineers to ensure timely delivery of project outputs;
+ Work with lead designer to assist with aligning design standards and processes with the rest of the Energy business line.

**Qualifications**:
+ Enrolled or eligible to enrol in an Associate Degree of Electrical Engineering (or similar Associate Degree / Advanced Diploma)
