**Reports to: Manufacturing Manager / Leading Hand**

**Objectives** **&* **Responsibilities:*
- _To follow the Leading Hands instruction in performing daily production jobs._
- _To use appropriate PPE’s during production work._
- _To obey all company’s Procedures, OH&S and other policies and rules._
- _Ensuring that good housekeeping and safety practices are observed._
- _Safe operation of all equipment_
- _Experienced in the safe use of, nail gun, Docking Saw & Ripsaw._
- _To understand measurements and used tape measure._
- _Must be adaptable and willing to change from job to job._
- _To be focused on the job at hand._
- _To move material as directed by Leading Hand._
- _For inspection of all manufactured goods and to reject any faulty or non-conforming Job._
- _To ensure all non-conforming products are clearly tagged and reported to the Leading Hand._
- _To be self-motivated and_ _be willing to learn._
- _To perform your daily duties to the best of your ability._

**Pre-Requisites for employment**

Education: _Must be able to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations._

**Training/Qualifications**:
**a) Essential **_Woodworking Experience._

**b) Desirable**:_Timber Tradesman._

**Experience**:
**a) Essential**:_Experience in working in manufacturing environments (1 Year Min.)_
- Basic experience in operation of Saws and other hand power tools essential._
- Be able to work at a fast, but safe pace_

**b) Desirable**:_Timber Box or pallet manufacturing experience, forklift licence (1 Year Min.)_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 30/10/2024
