**We are seeking a Part-Time/Full-Time Experienced Team leader for immediate start for our SIL home in South Morang.**
**We are looking for a person who can contribute to create a successful team and then lead this team using your values, skills, and experience with a positive and effective culture.**

**The following criteria is a MUST**:
- _Certificate III/IV in Disability Studies or Certificate IV in Ageing Support_
- _Must have full drivers’ license_
- _Must have own vehicle_
- _Police check no greater than 3months_
- _NDIS Workers Screening Clearance_
- _WWCC E_
- _Nationally Credited Australian First Aid & CPR_
- _COVID 19 Digital Immunisation History proof of triple vaccination_
- _Right to work in Australia_
- _Experience in Challenging Behaviours_
- _Commitment to the rights of people with disabilities to live dignified lives_
- _Able to accept responsibility_
- _Able to work as part of a team_
- _Able to cope with the physical demands of the job_

- _General awareness of health & safety issues_
- _Demonstrated skills supporting and caring for adults with a complex support need_

- _Well established skills in regard to problem solving and use of computer programs_

- _Relevant experience managing supported accommodation facilities (SIL), STA_

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- _Implement participants support plan to meet the needs and goals of Participants_
- _Provide support to Participants who require assistance with tasks of daily living, personal care, domestic assistance, and medication administration_
- _Ensuring compliance with reporting requirements_
- _Leading, guiding, and mentoring team members and assisting with performance management_
- _Monitor participants medications_
- _Monitor and report any damages to the property_
- _Managing the participants finances, and preparing reports for senior management_
- _Identify residents' goals, needs, strengths and aspirations using a person-centred framework embodied by PFCA_
- _Provide informal, and where required formal, peer support and supervision to develop team members_
- _Work collaboratively with residents, their families and natural supports, providing information, education and skills training as appropriate._
**Experience**:
- _SIL OR SDA Accommodation: 1 year mínimal (required)_

**Salary**: $58,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:
- NDIS Disability Sector (SIL) & STA: 1 year (required)
