Maintenance Attendant

Are you an experienced, Handyperson, with a passion to add value? In this part-time role, you'll be part of a hard-working small Team reporting to the Park Manager. Your problem-solving skills and existing maintenance skills will help you in this role. You'll have flexibility to work shifts across a 7-day rotating roster and on weekends and public holidays as required. **What you’ll do**: - Incidental maintenance repairs in rooms, amenities and other facilities. - Incidental customer service assistance with in-room repairs. - Assist with building projects, major repairs, renovations, mechanical repairs - painting, basic plumbing or replacing hardware. - Basic Electrical repairs ( If electrician certified ) - Maintenance of grounds and gardens **What you’ll bring**: - A reputation for providing excellent customer service, engaging in great conversations with our guests - Good time management and an eye for detail - An ability to follow direction related to daily tasks and expectations - Demonstrable experience in property maintenance. - Electrical trades/certificates is highly regarded. - Plumbing trades/certificates is highly regarded. - Experience with power tools - The ability to work under pressure - Organized and self-motivated - Knowledge and understanding of safe working procedures - The open approach to reach to the guests who doesn't follow the rules - Have an ability to work unsupervised with a "hands on" work history in a fast environment - Be hardworking, energetic, enthusiastic and possess a reasonable level of fitness - A minimum of tech is required as we use Teams (chat) to communicate in the park. - Pool safety/treatment is a bonus but not essential for this position. **What’s in it for you?** At the NRMA we aren’t just about discounts (although you do get these too).
