**The Company**

A large, complex leader in infrastructure & transport, that has recently merged with it's key global competitor has an opportunity for a Payroll & HRIS Systems SME or Optimisation Analyst. The regional business, in ANZ, is going through a massive integration project with critical deadlines to upgrade it's Time & Attendance platform, improve it's data integration & to optimise payroll processes.
- Enhancing & upgrading the framework for an upgrade of the Time Capture/Rostering platform
- Configuration, design, integration of EA/Award EA's & testing
- Automate the rostering, timesheet approval & the interface with the payroll platform
- Troubleshooting & resolving systems issues, liasing with external systems vendors where appropriate
- Developing HR & Finance reports to support commercial outcomes such as labour cost analysis
- Support successful roll out of new systems & process to engage operational staff in terms of time efficiency savings
- Be first point of contact & process owner of Payroll & HRIS Systems
- Working with leaders as payroll business partner to implement functional process improvements
- Engaging with team leaders to understand pain points and implement system improvements.
- Being SME or product owner for the system

This is a unique opportunity to be a true conduit between technology, HR, payroll & Finance business partners. The organisation is looking to build an employee experience function, with all facets of the employee life cycle integrated through systems.

The role is business facing & also technical: a rare opportunity to build your brand within the business and work with some of the industry's most innovative systems. Exposure to widely used systems such as Kronos, Success Factors, or Workday is a strong preference.

The leadership of the payroll & wider HR function is fantastic; the Senior Payroll Manager is dedicated to backing her team & has a positive & empathetic outlook. The team are encouraged to attend the office 1-2 days per week, but they support work from home.

Essentially you will be an build an effective business & operational plan to execute projects & deliver on systems optimisation outcomes.
